Accawo (historically known as Akawo, Osusu, or Esusu in West Africa) is a collaborative saving system that has supported small businesses, market retailers, and families for centuries. Despite its success, the traditional physical paper card system is vulnerable to ledger errors, loss of physical logs, and security challenges.
Our mission is to translate this beloved cultural framework into a highly secure, digital-first collaborative finance ecosystem. We use Supabase backend integrations, transparent ledger sheets, and optimized checkout integrations to ensure every single naira contributed is accounted for, approved by managers, and paid out rotationally on schedule.
